The Project

This project involved the design and build of a 20 bedroom accommodation block with ensuite facilities. John Wright Electrical Mechanical and Electrical Contractors of York were delighted to take on the job.

We were given an outline specification of the client's requirements, from these details we were then able to produce a specific design and working drawings for the client's approval. The works involved both mechanical and electrical services to the hot water and heating systems, linked to their existing BMS site-wide network including solar to meet with BREEAM specifications.

The Solution

Lighting/emergency lighting was designed and installed with the use of energy efficient combined fittings and control equipment. PIR Control was installed in corridor areas.

Data throughout the complex was installed to CAT5E standards with fibre links back to the client's mainframe. Other works included was the electricity supply, small power, ventilation systems, TV Installation and PA Systems.
