At John Wright Electrical and Mechanical Services, we pride ourselves on the fact that no job is too big or too small. So, we were proud to partner with Network Rail for a major lighting refurbishment job that covered HOOB Parkeston, Harwich.
It was a pleasure to work with Network Rail, especially as they continue to roll out their Putting Passengers First directive. They are making active changes to make traveling easier for every passenger. That includes improving their stations, which is where we came in to assist.
The replacement lighting scheme we installed was to commissioned to bring more life to the offices, stores, maintenance areas, and welfare areas of this particular site. The result is a well-lit station area with refurbished lighting both inside and outside. Not only is it an improvement for passengers but for the employees who work there every day.
As Network Rail continues to ramp up their Putting Passengers First campaign, more lighting refurbishments may be needed. We're thrilled that Network Rail put their trust in our business for their lighting needs, not only to make people more comfortable but to utilise LED lighting in their refurbishments to save energy, and know that those lights will last much longer.
To say we are excited about this particular partnership would be an understatement. It's always heartwarming to see a popular business or group doing what is right for the greater good of their customers, or, in this case, passengers. To find out more about our services click here:
